Barn. C17 with slight alterations of the early C19, and minor extensions of the mid C19. Walls of ashlar malmstone with tile and brick band above wall-thicken- ing, openings formed as projecting panels of brickwork, with square key to a plain architrave (projected above impost level), arch containing ventilation slots, formed by mullions and transoms; the south wall (early C19) is flint with brick dressings; walls of minor extensions are of stone, flint and brick. Tile roof. Structure of seven bays, divided by massive pointed stone arches (supporting two levels of purlins), with intermediate hammer beam to the lower purlins. Each bay has two round-arched openings (repeated, though filled, at each gable end). There is a projecting central wagon entrance on the north side, with gable, and corner slab buttresses (early C19), and later entrances at the 2nd, 4th (south side) and 6th bay.
