Public house. C18 of two builds, altered C19 and early C20. Painted brick, old plain tile roof, lead ridges, brick stacks. Of two parts, later part along road two storey, five bay, other set behind it at angle of two storey, three bay with full-height half hexagonal ended wing to road end bay, single storey infill between this and end of front range and on other side single storey projection to rest of front. Part fronting road has three-light window and at one end carriageway with ramped large double doors, on first floor five twelve-pane sashes. Dentilled eaves. Hipped roof. C19 half--glazed timber three-faced infill between ranges. Older part has C20 door in hexagonal end, which has twelve-pane sashes on each face on first floor, dentilled eaves and hipped roof. Flat-roofed projection has three tall fifteen-pane sashes and twelve-pane sash beside entrance. Behind original part has two- or three-light casements, hipped roof and off-centre ridge stack.
