Small country house, C18 and C19. Brick, once colourwashed, slated roof with lead ridges. C18 3 storey 5 bay by 5 bay building with C19 bows added to each corner and canted single storey bay in centre of sides and rectangular single storey extension added to front. On front extension has central pedimented Ionic porch on brick bases in slightly projecting canted bay, each side C20 equal tripartite sash, moulded brick cornice and parapet with balustraded lengths above windows and doors, stone copings and balls on corners to canted centre. 5 C18 12-pane flush framed sashes with rubbed brick arches, and raised brick architrave around central windows, on 1st floor. Above moulded brick cornice, and 5 small 12-pane sashes on 2nd floor. Moulded and dentilled timber cornice broken by 2nd floor windows. Roof hipped with C19 stacks at either end on return ridge. House formerly home of Sir Ivor Spencer Churchill.
