II
Lodge. Early C19. Brick, stuccoed, lead roof. Single storey on plinth, 2 bay side on to drive, one bay end to road which curves round to left. On road end at left corner quadrant wall which curves out to pier on road edge, and at right corner C19 gates and piers; pedestrian gates either side of carriage gates. To rear C19 2 bay by 1 bay block. Building is Greek Doric style on side tall 6-panel door reaching to entablature with pilasters, either side. Either side 12-pane sash with architrave. 4 wreaths in frieze over door with parapet above cornice with anthemions above door, and antefixa at each corner. Road end has recessed centre below entablature with 24-pane sash, and screen in front of 2 fluted columns, pilasters either side, and similar entablature and parapet.
