BEAUWORTH
The Milburys
(Formerly listed as The Fox and Hounds Public House)
II
Public House. Mid C18 with C19 additions. Brick, later tile hung, old plain tile
roof. Two bay road front with three bay wing to rear at right end and one storey C19
extension to left end running backwards. Two storey with cellar and attic, two bay
slightly irregular front. To left of centre top-glazed four-panel door behind C18
hip-roofed brick porch. To right four-light, to left three-light casement and two-light
casement in extension. Above two C19 twelve-pane sashes. Two hipped dormers with two-light casements. Gable end stacks, that to left set lengthways, roof of extension
hipped.
Inside 4m diameter x 1m wooden treadmill for drawing water in C19 extension.
