GV II
Cottage C17 & C18. Timber-frame cased in brick, roof thatched. 2 bay C17 building encased in brick C18 and, slightly later, a bay added to right. 3 bay, 1½ storey, on brick plinth. C18 planked door at inner end of left bay with baffle entry, to left C19 3-light leaded casement with camber head, and brick buttress at corner. In centre bay C19 3-light leaded case- ment with camber head. Right bay has brick pier at each end linked by pro- jecting string course just below wall plate and C18 3-light leaded case- ment. Above each window is an eyebrow dormer with C18 3-light leaded case- ment, built on exposed wall plate. Roof hipped at left end with ridge stack above door and external gable stack at right end. Gable slate hung.
