GV II Originally one house, later divided into two houses, now four flats. C17 or earlier timber-framed origin, with a remodelling of the early C18 as a symmetrical building with a recessed centre, with late C18 west extension as a large house with rear stable block, and early C19 changes to form two houses. EXTERIOR: Front walls of stucco, with panelled parapet, the east side with large-scale dentilled cornice, other walls of painted brickwork in English bond. Hipped tile roof of two levels, the east wall having a plastered coved eaves (of the earlier phase) and flat-roofed dormers (c1900) at the east side. The older (eastern) part has lower floor levels, but the same eaves level; south front elevation with recessed middle section, of two storeys. Two storeys and attic: 3.1.1 windows. Victorian sashes in reveals. Central doorcase to the west side, with open pediment on carved brackets, radiating fanlight, architrave, and 5-panelled door: an early C19 doorcase is positioned at the east side of the recessed part, with a moulded cornice above an architrave. Cast-iron rainwater heads with initials L.I.M. Beyond the west side is a carriage opening with a hay-loft door above. Timberframed building remodelled in early C18, late C18 and early C19.
