GV II
7 tombchests 10 m N of church tower, pair of tombs 5 m SW of church. Late C18 and early C19, 1866 by W Butterfield & Waller, mason. Portland stone and C18 red granite with brass inscription and limestone. Tombchests: 1776 to Joseph White; 1820 and later to White family; late C19 to White family, ornate Gothic; 1780 to William White; 1809 to James White; 1816 to Charles White and illegible White tomb. Tombs of John Keble, Vicar, and his wife Charlotte on stone slab, with John Keble's in red granite with in relief cross and bible and chalice with brass inscription band around, and Charlotte's similar in limestone.
