13/19 Market Gardens II

2 attached cottages. Late C18 and early C19 incorporating older wall. Reused dressed stone, flint and brick, old plain tile roof. Small 1½ storey, 2 bay, hipped roof brick cottage to left, 3 bay, 2 storey early C19 flint and brick cottage to right with buttressed older right end wall of stone, flint and brick chequerwork. Right cottage has central planked door in solid frame under C20 weatherboarded gabled porch and irregular 2-light casements, all openings with segmental heads. 2 2-light gabled dormers on hipped roof. Right cottage has central planked door with irregular 2-light casements either side, all with segmental heads and 2 2-light casements above linked to those below by brick strip with brick bands at top and bottom. Facade unsymmetrical because of wall at right end. Stack in front of ridge near left end.
