13/20 Stable block 100 m. N of Manor Farm House

GV II

Stable block with cart sheds at either end. Late C18. Reused dressed stone brick and flint, old plain tile roof with medieval-style ridge tiles with combs, cartsheds timber-frame weatherboarded with corrugated iron roofs. 1½ storey stable block of 6 bays. 2 stable doors in 2nd bay in from each end each side window opening with mullions, all with segmental heads. Above 2 doors to hay loft. To left 2 bay cartshed, projecting forward one bay open, half-hipped roof. Inside aisled queen strut roof of earlier timbers with cambered ties and curved braces. At right 3 bay cart shed open to front, projecting slightly forward with half-nipped roof. Inside 3 bay aisled queen strut roof with straight struts and braces.
