Barn. Late C19; circa 1880-90. Partly rendered mass concrete. Low-pitched slate hipped roof.
PLAN: Large rectangular 6-bay barn with opposing cart-entrances off centre.
EXTERIOR: North east front has cart-entrance to left of centre with corrugated-iron sheet doors. Opposing cart-entrance at rear [SW] is blocked with concrete blocks. Narrow full-height doorway on south east end.
INTERIOR: Exposed shuttered concrete walls with large aggregate exposed. 6-bay roof with queen-post trusses with angle-struts and king-posts over the collars with braces to the flat ridge board; the roof is complete with purlins, common-rafters and battens.
A rare survival of a complete Victorian concrete barn.
