4/2 Boundary stone on the western - parish boundary about 300m north-west of the Haytor road. - II

Boundary stone. Dated 1853. Granite. Low, round-headed stone inscribed with lettering of grotesque type face DS 1853 on one side and PRINCE ALBERT on the other. The first of a series of named boundary-stones running north-west across the moor.
