2 shops with domestic accommodation above. Late C15 cellars,
otherwise mid C18 with late C20 alterations. 2 parallel
ranges. Red brick. Pantiled roofs. Facade of 3 storeys;
4-window range. 2 late C20 shop fronts of identical
multi-paned design. The first floor is lit through four 6/6
unhorned sashes set within flush frames under gauged skewback
arches. Four 3/3 second-floor sashes under segmental gauged
arches. Moulded and coved timber eaves cornice. Gabled roof
with central ridge stack. The rear of No.20 is rendered and
fitted with late C20 casements and a fire escape. Rear of
No.21 has 2-light C19 cross casements.
INTERIOR: ground floor of No.20 opened out in late C20.
Exterior late C15 brick steps lead down to cellar which has
one bay of plastered groin vaulting, also of C15 brick.
Remainder of cellar rebuilt. Remainder of interiors without
features of special interest.
