Terrace of 4 pairs of semi-detached houses linked by porches. Dated 1888. Red brick with tile hanging and decorative plaster gables to upper floors of Nos 80-82 and 92-4 which flank roughcast houses with tile-hung gables to Nos 84-90 to centre; gabled plain tile roofs with brick ridge stacks. Each house of double-depth plan with central staircase. 'Queen Anne' style. Each house has gabled front of 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range of projecting bay windows, with plate-glass and glazing-bar casements, mullioned and transomed ground-floor windows and Ipswich windows to first floor; flanked by recessed bays, each with corner balcony over one-light window set in moulded architrave with gauged and ribbed brick to aprons and recessed panels with swags. Stained glass to sashes in side elevations. Gauged and rubbed brick to porches which have balustrades to parapets and moulded Tudor-arched doorways. Interior of No 80: good stained glass to porch; panelled doors; dog-leg with winders staircase, with turned balusters and pendentives; good 'Queen Anne' fireplace with decorative tile surrounds. Interiors of other houses noted as having similar features.
