GV II

House. C17 and C19 exterior with C20 extensions, possibly on older foundations. Sandstone rubble with brick dressings to windows and eaves cornice; plain tiled roofs with brick gables and ashlar stacks. L-shaped building. Two storeys over cellar with four stacks together on ridge plinth under corbelled tops. Entrance front:- Gable to right end with plinth below and plat band over ground floor. Stone coping to roof. Square plaque in gable. Two-light diamond mullion leaded casement window under label moulding to first floor. Mullioned and transomed window with arched upper lights under label moulding to ground floor. C20 panelled door to ground floor right under a flat hood. C20 range to left with pentice bay across the ground floor and 3 gabled dormers above. Rear elevation:- Gable to left with 4-light, cambered head first floor casement window cutting through canted brick string course. Five-light cambered head window below. Tall plinth moulding and plat band to eaves on right hand range. Leaded casement windows and cambered head ground floor door. Pentice extension to left.
