KINGSTEIGNTON CHURCH STREET, Kingsteignton SX 87 SE 5/164 United Reformed Church including iron railings in front
- II
United Reformed Church. Circa 1870s. Whitewashed and rendered ; slate roof, gabled at ends. Rectangular on plan the ritual (west) end to the Street, 1 window to the side elevation. Eclectic Gothic style. Front elevation with rusticated chamfered quions and central gabled porch with a 2-centred outer doorway with the architrave painted in a contrasting colour. 2-centred arched windows to left and right with painted architraves, glazed with high transoms and arched glazing bars above the transom. Central rose window above the porch in a round-headed recess with spoke glazing bars, an arched hoodmould with carved label stops and a sill with carved ends. Low stone rubble wall in front of west end with iron railings with spearhead finials and a gate.
