Details
SX 86 NW BROADHEMPSTON BROADHEMPSTON 2/73 Court Gate Cottage - GV II Cottage. Probably circa early C18. Rendered rubble walls with slate roof, gable ended. Rendered rubble stack slightly set in from right gable end. 2 room plan with right hand room heated by gable stack, barn attached at opposite left end of house. It is possible that the house was once larger. 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front on ground floor, 1 window to first floor. Early C20 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. Pentice roof supported on post to right-hand side of front. Small single storey wing projects from front of right side. Barn at left-hand end has first floor loading door. Interior inaccessible at time of survey.
