SX 86 NW BROADHEMPSTON BROADHEMPSTON 2/71 Moorview - GV II Small house. C17, altered in C19. Rendered rubble walls and lateral stack at rear. Brick stack to right gable end. Asbestos slate roof hipped at either end. 2 room plan probably altered in C19, now has central entrance hall. (Left hand room heated by rear lateral stack, right hand room by gable end stack),and newel staircase at left end of left-hand room, beside lateral fireplace. C20 wing at rear. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window front with probably C19 and C20 3-light casements with glazing bars. Central C20 lean-to glazed porch with part glazed C20 door. Outshut at right end. Stair projection behind left gable end. Interior inaccessible at time of survey but seen to contain two moulded cross beams in left-hand room.
