GV II
House, former barn. Late C16. Timber framed and rendered with exposed frame and C20 leaded light windows. Gabled pantile roof. Originally of 3 bays with central midstrey on south side but with additional bay on north end. Later lean-to on east front, now converted to enclosed porch. Frame has jowled posts, long straightish internal wall bracing on long braces to tie beams. Roof is side purlin with 'V' struts with some rebuilding. Reused baluster-like timber of late C16 with typical stamped and inscribed patterns including rose. Part of bargeboard is of similar style with running patterns.
