5/25 Weston Manor Cottage and 2 cottages - adjoining at the north

3 adjoining cottages. C18 or C19. The 2 northern cottages are brick on stone rubble with thatched roofs and brick stacks the roof hipped at the right end. Weston Manor Cottage is rendered but said to be entirely brick (information from owner) with a thatched roof and a 1930s brick addition. Plan: The 2 northern cottages face the road and are part of a row of cottages. Western Manor Cottage adjoins at the south, end on to the road. Exterior: Asymmetrical 1:2 window front to the road, the left hand (northernmost) cottage with a C20 front door to the left with a C19 porch hood on brackets. C19 or C20 2-and 3-light casements with C20 diamond leaded pane glazing. The adjoining cottage to the right has a C19 or C20 timber door with a trellis porch, and 2 first floor C19 or C20 2-light light timber casements; one ground floor 3-light casement. The right return (front elevation of Weston Manor Cottage) has a 2 window front with a C20 gabled porch and small pane 2-light casements which are C20 copies or earlier windows. Interior: Not inspected. Group value with Weston Manor on the opposite side of the road, in Buckenell parish.
