Details
LUPPITT ST 10 NE 6/48 Lowertown Cottage - - II Cottage. Probably C18, much altered in the early C20. Plastered local stone rubble, maybe with some cob; stone rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatch roof to main cottage. Plan: small 2-room plan cottage facing north-east. The larger right room is heated by a gable-end stack. Early C20 single storey service outshot on left (south-east) end with a front lateral stack. Cottage is 2 storeys. Exterior: 2-window front of C20 casements without glazing bars. The front doorway is on the left behind a C20 lean-to porch. Roof is gable-ended to right and half- hipped to left. Interior has little exposed carpentry detail and the fireplace is blocked.
