House. Circa early C16 hall house with floor inserted. Stone rubble. Thatched hipped roof. Two storeys. Five window range. Mostly modern casements but retaining some wooden ovolo moulded and chamfered mullion windows, all with leaded panes. Window in east end with cusped pointed arches to three narrow lights. Central doorway with chamfered four centred arch timber frame and old boarded door. Wing at rear (north-east) forming L-shaped plan. Later outshut at rear with thatch over. Interior: Smoke-blackened jointed cruck trusses. Plank and muntin screen to cross passage. Inserted central chimney stack with heavy timber bressummer to fireplace. Shouldered arch to remains of screen in upper end. Newel stairs.
