Bridge. 1762-1764, restored 1921. Brick with some sandstone dressings. Six semi-circular headed arches, that at each end on dry ground. Outer pair of arches are lower. Segmental brick arches with labels and projecting sandstone keystones below dentilled cornice. Flat sandstone coping to parapet beneath which is a three-course projecting brick string. Stone coped parapet which slopes up from west end, then flattens out over second arch. The triangular cutwaters to left and right of the two central arches are taken up to the parapet and form pedestrian refuges. Stone dressed to base on upstream side and rising to brick broaches at springing level of arches. The road surface is tarmac with brick drainage channels.
