Details
RUSHWICK CP UPPER WICK SO 85 SW 3/127 Upper Wick Farmhouse 29.7.59 - II House. C17, partially rebuilt and extended in the early C19. Timber-framing and brick with tile roof. Irregular plan. Two storeys. South front of brick. The two main bays have sashed windows with glazing bars, the left-hand one on the ground floor tripartite. In the right-hand bay is a doorway with timber pilaster doorcase with cornice. Adjoining and recessed to the right is a lower third bay which has a casement window on the ground floor and a sashed window above. The left-hand bays have two parallel roofs hipped at the front. Chimneys to left and right and to right of second bay. The west wall has exposed timber- framing in irregular square panels and includes a gabled stair turret to right on a brick base.
