Details
POWICK CP UPTON ROAD (west side) SO 8249-8349 Callow End 8/119 No 15 (Glebe Cottage) - II House. C17, with earlier remains. Timber-framing with thatched roof. Framed in irregular square panels. One storey with attic. Three windows to left of main doorway and three to right. Second doorway to left of right- hand window. Three attic dormers. Chimneys behind ridge to right of door and towards left. Interior: not accessible at time of survey (September 1986). Cruck catalogue includes the building, but does not specify the number or type of the crucks, or the source of information. (Alcock, NW: CBA Cruck Catalogue, 1981).
