House. Early C19 with C20 alterations and late-medieval remains. Brick with remains of cruck frame and tile roof. Two storeys. Three C20 casement windows on ground floor and four on first floor. Doorway to right of first ground floor window, with blocked doorway to its right. Second blocked doorway to left of third window. Roof hipped at left. Chimney to right of second ground floor window.
Interior: middle room on ground floor contains inglenook fireplace and two chamfered ceiling beams. Parts of three cruck trusses remain. The right-hand (eastern) truss has blades visible only on the ground floor. The western truss is visible on the first floor and has a collar, tie-beam and outriders. The middle truss, visible on the first floor appears to be the central truss of an open hall. It has an arch-braced collar with one brace cut through by a later doorway. Above the collar is a king-strut which terminates at a yoke below the apex, and two raking struts. Part of the collar is smoke-blackened. Towards the east on the first floor knee-braces which support a purlin were inserted when the brick front wall was built and the eaves raised.
