Jugs Hole Cottage approximately 100 metres north-east of Garford
(formerly listed as Jugs Hole Cottage, north-east of Garford Farmhouse)

House. C17, with C19 additions. Timber-framed with mainly painted brick
infill, sandstone plinth and external stack with detached brick shaft,
tiled roof. Brick later addition. Two framed bays aligned east/west
facing south with brick addition to west and lean-to to rear; east gable
end entry and east external stack. Two storeys, four C19 two-light case-
ment windows, gabled porch against stack to right end with ledged door.
Framing: four square panels from sill to wall-plate, largely complete.
Interior retains wattle-and-daub infill in rear wall enclosed by later
lean-to, stop chamfered beams and joists.
