8/67 The Longbarn and attached barn to north-west
- II
Barn and cow house, the latter now a dwelling. Probably C18 to early C19. Barn has timber-frame with weatherboards, rubble gables with brick dressings and half-hipped tiled roof; six bays aligned west-south-west/east-north-east; opposed cart entries in third bay from west; gables have brick quoins and moulded brick course beneath half-hipping. Cow house is brick with tiled roof and C20 casements, single storey and returns form east end of barn towards the south. Interior of barn has angle struts from main posts to ties above which are raking struts to principals. The cow house part is now called The Longbarn.
