GV II House. Probably late C17 or C18 with late C20 additions. Timber-frame, plaster and brick infill, concrete tiled roof and external local type stone stack with detached brick shaft at east end. L-plan, two framed bays to each arm, main entrance front to north, projecting wing attached at east end; one storey and attic. North elevation: right hand side is mock timber- frame in which is a 3-light late C20 casement with two 2-light contemporary casements above in a raking top dormer; to the left, against the junction of the two ranges, is a late C20 single light window occupying a full panel, a similar window is in the gable of the projecting wing. Entrance in late C20 glazed porch attached to east side of projecting wing. Frame: square panels, three high from cill to wall-plate. Large single storey late C20 extension to rear of west arm. Included for group value.
