King Street Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Late C18 or early C19. Dressed and squared sandstone rubble,
Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan with two parallel roof ranges and
therefore with four gable-end stacks, central entrance and central stair
well. Three storeys and part cellared, raised verges to gable ends, two
stringcourses to main entrance from five glazing-bar sash windows with
6-pane windows to second floor and 12-pane windows to ground and first
floor (3-light casement windows to rear). central entrance with open-
pedimented surround and 6-panelled door. Interior retains a contemporary
staircase with turned balusters.
