3/56 Holsty Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Late C18 and early C19. Sandstone rubble and brick with stone slate roof, hipped to north, and brick stacks. Rectangular plan aligned roughly north/south. Cellar to south end, two storeys and attic. East elevation has five windows, segmentally-headed tripartite mid-C20 sashes, canted early C20 bay window to right of centre, oeil-de-boeuf above central first floor window, central early C20 glazed porch, dentilled brick eaves cornice, left part is sandstone rubble and its window heads have projecting keystones. Interior has flagged ground floor and early C19 dog-leg staircase with stick balusters and two flights.
