MORDIFORD CP MORDIFORD SO 53 NE 5/144 Mordiford Bridge (that part in 26.1.67 Mordiford CP) GV II* Road bridge. C14 and C16. Coursed and dressed sandstone rubble. Two main spans over River Lugg, two further flood arches and causeway with further five arches extends to west in Hampton Bishop CP (qv). Earlier arch to west with pointed head of two orders, later semi-circular-headed arch to east; cutwaters to piers, parapets largely rebuilt and bridge widened slightly to south side during C16. AM No 31.
