Details
LUGWARDINE CP LUGWARDINE SO 5441 - 5541 8/113 The Crown and Anchor Inn 20.10.52 - II Inn. C17 with C18 additions and further C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick infill, sandstone plinth and painted brick shafts to sandstone stacks, slate roof. Two framed bays aligned east/west obscured by later additions at west end, extending to south and C20 lean-to porch in angle, C20 additions to rear, former central entrance and end stacks. Two storeys. Irregular fenestration, 2-light casement windows to left and similar window to right, lean-to porch with two glazing bar sash windows, C20 window to right of porch. Framing largely complete though altered, four square panels from sill to wall-plate with braces from bottom rail of top panel to main posts. Interior not inspected.
