Details
FOWNHOPE CP FOWNHOPE SO 53 SE 7/43 Ring House - II House. C17, altered C18, undergoing restoration at time of resurvey (April 1985). Timber-framed, sandstone rubble plinth and stack with late C18 sandstone rubble refacing, part slate, part tiled roof, some brick infilling. Two framed bays with two further bays part refaced with sandstone, aligned north/south, central axial stack, entrances formerly central, two to each pair of bays, C20 extension currently under construction to east. Two storeys; west front, skeletal frame of two northern bays with indeterminable former openings, two half- dormers to two southern bays to right with 2-light casement windows, two openings below with segmental brick heads; large central axial stack formerly with bread oven.
