REDDITCH B FIELD FARM LANE (west side) SP 06 NE Ipsley 2/83 Cottage Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, now house. Cl7 with early C19 and mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed and faced in whitened brick; plain and machine- tiled roofs. Two framed bays aligned north/south with external end chimneys; refronted to east by addition. of three adjoining gabled wings; C19 single-bay north addition continues roofline and has lean-to addition (also C19) to front; two storeys with dentilled eaves cornice. East front elevation: main part has two ground floor 2-light casements and two first floor 2-light casements with plank weatherings; central first floor circular window with radiating glazing bars; central lean-to porch on timber posts and C20 door; lean-to to north has a 2-light casement to front. Interior: some moulded ceiling beams visble. A C19 single-storey kitchen wing adjoins south gable end with C20 alterations to its east elevation.
