REDDITCH B HAM GREEN SP 06 SW 4/92 Barn and adjoining stable block about 30 yards south 10.4.54 of Ham Green Farmhouse
GV II
Barn and adjoining stable block. C17 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed with brick infill, partly weatherboarded on sandstone base; corrugated asbestos roof. Probably five framed bays aligned north-west/ south-east; wagon bay second from north-west end with opposing cart entries and now blocked. Framing: single row of panels visible at eaves level to south- east end; long straight braces in lower corners; collar and tie-beam trusses, south-east end truss has two struts to collar and raking struts in lower corners. Main north-east elevation has two doors. Access to loft at south-east gable end. Interior not inspected. C20 additions to south-west elevation. The six-bay stable block adjoins the north-west bay on the north-east side. Forms a group with Ham Green Farmhouse (qv) and included for group value.
