House: Mid-C18 with mid-C19 additions. Brick on sandstone base with Roman cement dressings; hipped plain tiled roof with large brick stacks to ridges of rear wings. Two storeys and attic with dormers; boldly moulded eaves cornice. Four bays; rusticated quoins; windows have stepped rusticated flat arches, moulded sills and are all 12-pane sashes; two hipped dormers with 2-light casements: central entrance has a pediment on consoles, a moulded architrave; 6-panelled door and transom light with two glazing bars; three sandstone steps lead up to entrance. There is a blind window with a cambered head on both floors of both side elevations. Interior not inspected but noted as having retained its ceiling mouldings and fittings; including dog-leg staircase to rear with turned balusters. C19 gabled and lean-to addition to rear right.
