2. Commemorates Richard Eve, 1831-1900. Square in section with canted corners, non-classical pilasters and balustraded parapet with ball finials at corners. Octagonal top section with domed fluted roof with ball finial. All covered in bright glazed tiles. Three steps. Each face has an arcade, one with portrait in roundel, fountain, inscriptions: "Chivalrous by nature and fired with the enthusiasm of Humanity he resisted oppression and did battle for the right". "To keep his memory Green in his native town, which he ardently loved, admiring friends have raised this memorial". "Charity was ever his end and aim devoted to the masonic craft he was Grand Treasurer of England 1889 and for years Chairman of the Masonic Boys School". The main colours of the tiles are brown, green and yellow.
