Orangery, now house, and adjoining garden walls. Mid-C18 with mid-C20 altera- tions. Brick with sandstone ashlar dressings; slate roof with pedimented gable ends and brick ridge stack. Two storeys, attic and basement. Three bays articulated by three-bay round-headed arcade with stone keyblocks and impost band; each opening has a pair of multi-paned double doors to ground floor with multi-paned window and barred segmental fanlight above; 4-pane attic window with round head and stone architrave contained within pedimented gable. Flank- ing single-storey single-bay wings with parapets to south front elevation and lean-to roofs at rear; each has a 24-pane sash window with gauged flat head and stone keyblock. Access to basement storey at rear. Orangery is situated at centre of north side of walled garden; this has brick walls with sandstone copings, about 10 feet high and about 100 yards long by 70 yards wide. There is an original doorway with a cambered head to the south-east and, at the centre of the south wall is a C20 replacement gateway with square piers, ball finials and wrought iron gates. .
