House, now flats. Mid-C18, refronted c1800 with further mid-C19 and mid- C20 alterations. Brick, partly pebbledashed; plain and machine-tile roofs, partly hipped with ogee-arched parapets at front gable ends; massive brick stacks of mainly mid-C19 date. Three storeys and cellar with dentilled eaves cornice. Gothick style. East front elevation: 1:3:1 gabled bays; central part breaks forward and the upper floors are half a storey higher than those of the flanking bays. The windows all have hood moulds with returns; first floor windows have four-centred heads and Y-tracery, second floor windows are 2-light casements. The central part has two windows similar to those on the first floor flanking the former main entrance whioh has a 4- centred head, glazed double doors and a Y-traceried fanlight. The flanking bays have ground floor additions with flat roofs behind parapets; the left addition has an opening with a 4-centred head and an inserted C20 bay window; the right addition has a pair of cross-casements with pointed upper lights. There is a blind quatrefoil in the apex of the central gable and blind trefoils in the apex of the smaller flanking gables. Interior not inspected. Main entrance now at rear. Large mid-C19 addition to rear left. (BoE, p 78).
