GREEN LANE 1. 5167 (West Side) The Unitarian Sunday School SK 3447 NE 1/81 II 2. Present building probably of early/mid C19 date. Plaque over door reads "Unitarian Sunday School 1721 to 1855". In 1721 the first Unitarian Meeting House was built on Market Street Lane:- now Green Lane (D A J xii 1890 13). Roughcast render over brick. Slate roof. Two storeys, Two windows with additional window at lover level over centre door. Fixed lights with glazing bars and small centre opening lights, lower windows with plain stone frames. Centre door with similar surround, and cornice above plaque. (Unitarian Meeting House built 1782 on Field Row qv).
