6/22 (South Side) Delf View and attached stables 12-7-67 (formerly listed as 'Delf House and Stables at Delf House') GV II

House and stable block, now incorporated into house. c1825. Gritstone ashlar with gritstone dressings. Continuous plain band to first floor and plain cornice. Hipped stone slate roofs with stone ridges. Stone ridge stacks. Two storeys, five bay house central bay advanced. Robust central stone porch with plain pilasters and entablature. Low parapet over has raised corner blocks. Inside of porch curves inwards to plain raised doorcase. C20 glazed door and plain overlight. To either side, pairs of tall glazing bar sashes. Above, five similar sashes. Attached to east, former two bay stable block, western bay advanced. Stepped semi-circular headed arch, now filled by C20 window to west. To east, C20 glazed door in original opening. Blocked window opening beyond. Above, two plain sashes in original openings. Corbelled eaves gutter. Interior has original painted iron staircase.
