House. C16 (said to be 1564). Timber frame on plastered sill, roughcast and pargetting but front faced in red brick up to head of ground floor window. N end white weatherboarded and rear wing tilehung on N side. Steep old red tile roofs. Tiled lean-to outshut at SW. Very large external S gable chimney painted white. A small, one and a half storeys, T-shaped house facing E. 2 houses attached at W in late C19 not of special interest. Low wing extends to rear. Inserted floor and small gabled front dormer on eaves at left. Canted 3-light casement oriel window with 6-panel moulded door on right (top 2 panels glazed). Massive end stack with crow-steps and axial shaft built to rise clear of gable end. Interior has exposed timbers, floor beam, wide fireplace with timber lintol, plank doors on iron strap hinges, C18 corner cupboard and mantel shelf. Original stair.
