House. Mid-late C18, altered C19-early C20. Roughcast over brick, dentil
eaves, slate roof, stone-coped gables with shaped kneelers, roughcast chimneys.
L-plan. 3 storeys and attic. Left bay is projecting and gabled to front. Gable
end has small 2-light wooden window to ground floor, canted oriel window with
3-pane sashes and flat roof to first floor, Venetian window with raised
surround, keyblock and sashes to second floor, and lunette in raised surround
with keyblock to attic. Small single-storey extension to left. Right return
has 2 bays of boxed 3-pane sashes, the near bay with 2-ligltcasements to ground
floor and gabled attic dormer, and 6-panelled door with C20 lean-to hood. Far
bay has 6-panelled door at first floor level, in architrave surround with flat
wooden hood and keyblock. Sash above also has keyblock. Another bay of sashes
with keyblocks to right. Interior has good plaster ceiling cornices, that to
front left bay with modillions, and good C18 staircase with turned balusters,
shaped scroll tread ends, and wreathed handrail.
