GV II*

A fine mid C18 house with early C19 extensions to east. 2 storeys, 5 close spaced glazing bar sash windows to front. Red brick with pale headers and 14 inch brick flat arches. Hipped pantiled roof. Parapet with flat cope on road front only. Fine central pilastered doorpiece, with Doric frieze and pediment; 6 panel door with rectangular light above. The south front is irregular due to the later additions and alterations. 1 + 1 + 2 + 3 windows including a venetian window at landing level above doorway. To right are 3 dormers 2 of them half-dormers. There is also an oriel window on the 1st floor. On north wall is a Sun Fire Insurance Mark numbered 254044 (Taken out by a Capt Jackson on 4.ii.1768 to the value of £600).
