5/307 Little Sarratt Hall and the Cottage

House. Early C19, altered C20. Stock brick. Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. 2 window front with entrance to left, glazed door with traceried round headed fanlight, flanking tall casements, open pedimented Roman Doric porch, cornice continues to outer pilasters. Ground floor right and first floor glazing bar sashes with gauged brick flat arched heads. Plinth. Panelled eaves soffit. Central ridge stack. Right return to garden has 3 windows. Central entrance with reeded architrave, later porch. Flanking 16 pane sashes. First floor 12 pane flanked by 16 pane sashes. To rear 3 unevenly spaced windows. Attached to left is a lower service bay, a ground floor casement, first floor sash and hipped roof to front. Set well back and further left is a link to the Cottage fronting Moor Lane, a wing with an entrance in a recess, horizontal sliding sashes and a hipped roof. Interior not inspected.
