SARRATT PENMAN'S GREEN (South side) Belsize Hilltop

House. Late C17, refronted in C18, extended C20. Timber frame, partial brick casing and extension, part rendered. Tiled roof. 2 storeys. 2 bays. Ground floor: entrance to right of centre, plank door with later gabled timber porch, flanking 2 light timber glazing bar casements with segmental heads. Plinth. First floor, 2 similar casements breaking dentilled brick eaves. Right gable end rendered with exposed purlins, an attic casement. External stack with a large base, tiled offsets to narrow flue. Left gable has exposed timbers. To rear a taller C20 brick addition with a lean-to outshut to right. Interior not inspected.
