KNIGHT STREET 1. 5253 (West Side) Nos 30 and 32 TL 4838 1490:3/53 6.6.52 II GV 2. Late C17 building, S part lower and possibly a little later (RCHM Typescript). Brick front pebbledashed, the rest timberframed and weatherboarded on Gd floor with plastered 1st floor. Steep hipped old tile roof with S wing roof lower and gabled to S. Wooden eaves cornice. Central chimney stack with internal gable stack to S part. 3 windows. Flush C19 sashes with 6/6 panes. 2, C19,6 panel flush doors with heavy frames, architraves and flat moulded hoods on slender shaped brackets. Rear wing to No 30. Former lobby entrance opposite centre chimney, cased axial beams, C18 interior on street front with fire surround with eared architrave and unusual carved frieze (RCHM Typescript). Part of architectural group on W side of street.
