II
Farmhouse; early C19; grey random rubble in thin stones, roughly coursed, larger, squared red quoins and window voussoirs; slate roof. L-plan, 3-window front, two-and-a-half storeys. Symmetrical entrance facade: front door 2 flush panels bottom, 4 glass panes above, segmental head to door, with stone voussoirs to segmental arch, continued by horizontal red stone each end beyond opening as ear. Hipped, slated porch, on cast-iron frame. Windows 4-pane wide sashes, segmental head to upper sash; lintel as for door, but with projecting keystone. Windows same to first floor: 3 hipped dormers with 2-light wooden casements, each light in 6 panes: segmental head to glazing in window. Parapet gables with moulded projecting kneeler; brick gable chimneys with stone cornices. Right return has a plinth, with window to collar. Long rear wing, with small block in corner.
