House. 1832-3 (Jackson (1983)17). Yellow brick and steep slate hipped roof with plastered soffit to deep overhang. 2 storeys, cellar and attics. A fine Regency farmers house, facing E, set back with forecourt. Double pile plan with end chimneys and stair central at rear with round headed window. A large house with refined detailing. Symmetrical E front 3 windows wide with projecting Greek Doric stucco porch with full entablature and fluted columns raised on plinth with 4 stone steps. Windows set in full height recesses with square heads. Portland stone floor band. Upper windows with flat gauged arches, deep segmental gauged arches to Ground floor and basement openings. Recessed sash windows with 6/6 panes and margin panes. 5-panel door with semi circular traceried fanlight. Cast iron railings on Portland stone capping to forecourt wall.
